A joint trip with Rotorua Botanical Society. The lake is more than 25km long, with indigenous forest and wetlands in the upper reaches best accessed by boat. We will be botanizing from the boat, and landing where possible. You must tell the trip leader that you are coming by the prior Thursday so he can make sure there is space on the boat, and so that you can be contacted if the weather is not suitable on the day. It is also possible that the meeting place for this trip may change.

Meet:  Gate 10 Silverdale Rd at 08:30 am or the ramp at Jones Landing at the end of Lake Arapuni Road – Jones Landing Road at 09:30am.
