On Thursday 7th December one of Waikato’s exceptional botanists, Paul Champion, will be awarded the Allan Mere.  The award is given by the New Zealand Botanical Society to outstanding botanists to acknowledge their contribution and work.

The award will be presented by Anthony Wright, President of the New Zealand Botanical Society, who will also give a botanical talk following the ceremony.

6pm at the Link Community Centre, St Andrews Church, Hamilton (corner of Te Aroha St and River Road).
